pickturn · Beta

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Wendell Labs, LLC handles information when providing pickturn, currently in beta.

Information we handle

We process names, email addresses, organization and event memberships, application answers, selections, schedule subscriptions, acknowledgments of event terms, and organizer content or files. We also process support messages, administrative records, request information, timestamps and errors needed to operate and protect the service. Sign-in links, access codes and session cookies support access to the service.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, administer events and applications, enforce event settings, record selections and changes, send sign-in and event messages, provide schedules and calendar files, answer requests and investigate misuse. Email verification confirms control of an address; it does not guarantee admission or inventory.

Organizers and visibility

Organizers and their authorized staff can access information needed to administer their events. Other participant access depends on event settings and their relationship to the event. Information and files an organizer publishes can be accessible without signing in. Removing publication cannot retrieve copies already downloaded. Contact your organizer about its own use of your information.

Service providers

We use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and file storage, and Resend for transactional email. They process information needed to provide those services. Live online payments are not available in this beta. We may disclose information when required by law, to address security or misuse, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections.

Retention and privacy requests

We retain information as needed to provide the service, administer events, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Removing a participant does not automatically erase related audit records or backups. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. We may verify your request and coordinate with your organizer; some records may need to be retained. Do not send passwords, access codes or sensitive identity documents by email.

Cookies and communications

Authentication cookies maintain signed-in sessions. Operational emails support requested actions and event administration. Schedule subscriptions have their own unsubscribe controls. Organizers should collect only information needed for their event and ensure they have authority to submit it, including information about people they represent.

Security and changes

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information, but no service guarantees absolute security. Protect your invitation links and access codes. This policy applies when the beta website is published; material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
