Divide ice in an order everyone agreed to first.

Your association buys the ice. pickturn hands it out one turn at a time, on a board every coach can watch, and keeps the record that answers “why did they get Saturday?” before anyone asks.

    How a sign-up runs

    1. Build the grid

Enter the ice you purchased — sheets, days and times. Full sheet and half-ice live on the same grid without ever double-booking each other.

    2. Set the order

You decide the order — by age group, by seniority, by last season’s result, or by a verifiable draw. It is frozen at launch and shown to everyone.

    3. Take your turn

With ordered selections, each team gets a window and an email when it opens. They pick from the live board. Miss the window and the next team is up — the sign-up never stalls.

    Total transparency. Zero blame.

Every selection is written to an append-only record with who acted, when, and what they took. When a family asks why another team has the 6:00 slot, you don’t defend a decision — you show the order they already agreed to.

Other tools flag a double-booking. pickturn makes it impossible.

Most rink software warns you after two teams claim the same hour, and leaves the scheduler to sort it out. pickturn refuses the second one at the database — the first confirmed selection simply wins, every time, even when two coaches tap at the same instant.

Full sheet and half-ice can’t collide
Take the full sheet at 6:00 and both halves disappear at 6:00 — and the reverse. Offer a whole sheet or either half on the same board.
First confirmed wins — no ties, no reversals
Race-tested. One team gets the slot, the other is told instantly and picks again.

    Proven in production

pickturn’s engine ran a full season sign-up for a school athletics program — every team seated, no double-bookings, no disputed outcomes, and a record the athletic director could hand to anyone who asked.

We’re onboarding our first ice associations now. If you want to run your fall sign-up on it, we’ll set it up with you.

    Pricing coming soon

pickturn is currently in beta. Paid plans and online payments are not available yet.

We will publish pricing and plan details before paid plans launch.

Run your next sign-up on a board nobody argues with.

Tell us how much ice you buy and how many teams you seat. We’ll show you the sign-up running with your own schedule in it.

We’ll reply ourselves. No sequence, no sales team.
